How to Make a Natural Gas Burnout Oven?

With a natural gas burnout oven, you can not only bake scrumptious stuff like cake, pizza, pastry, sandwich and the like, but you can also save hundreds of dollars. Above all, you can earn a lot of appreciation and goodwill too. Instead of buying an expensive natural gas burnout oven, it would be more feasible to build one. Here is a step-by-step procedure to build a natural gas burnout oven.

To start building the oven, you would need different parts. Rather than rushing to the market to purchase each and every component, spend sometime searching your store room. If you have an old electric oven that you do not use, then you can easily get some parts from it like the knobs, thermostat and controls. In addition to spare-parts market, internet is also a good place to procure natural gas burnout oven components like hinges, clasps, rubber seals, sealants and elements at a reasonable price.

Like any other oven, natural gas burnout oven also has panels which are made of fiberglass board that is wrapped inside a metallic sheet. The dimensions of all the panels differ, but one edge of all the panels has the same measurement, that is, 36-inches. The panels are fastened together with the help of steel pop rivets. Screws can also be used. Besides the frame, you will also need a burner, which is usually made of light-weight material like metal drywall studs. In the open area of the frame, burner pan is present.

The inside of the natural gas burnout oven should be 36-inches high, 24-inches wide and 72-inches deep.  The inner side of the oven will have 4 heating elements out of which only 2 will be visible. Additionally, one shiny bar, and two rails would also be needed.  While the former, which acts as an intermediate support mechanism, would be placed in the centre of the oven, the latter travel across the entire length of the oven.  A trolley would also be needed to carry items to be baked inside the oven.

At the top portion of the natural gas burnout oven, make a window so that all the extra gas can escape from there. In the bottom part of the frame fix the wheels so that it becomes easy to move the oven from one place to another. In the end, load the ATV frame inside the oven frame; with this your natural gas burnout oven is ready for use.
